    Petiquette

bullet

Always, always scoop the poop!  Do not wait to do this.  It is easy to forget and all eyes will be on you!

bullet

Ask the owners permission to approach a dog before befriending it

bullet

Use caution when permitting curious dogs to greet yours, both within and outside the Dog Park

bullet

Do not bring aggressive dogs into the Dog Park.  Your are risking harm to others and creating a potential liability for yourself

bullet

Use caution when using toys and other objects while playing with your dog.  Dominance issues may arise, possibly causing your pet to become unusually aggressive to the point where it may bite you or someone else

bullet

If your dog displays aggressive or mounting behavior, leash him or her and remove them from the situation.  Mounting behavior often can initiate a potentially harmful situation

bullet

Always keep an eye on your dog.  Like children, they can get into trouble quickly!  Your careful attention will help prevent aggressive displays.  Quickly stop inappropriate digging and assure proper removal of dog excrement
