-------As a young child in New Jersey, Dr. Engle liked to care for her friends' pets. She never wavered when deciding what to be...It was always a veterinarian. Her childhood dream became a reality in 1988 when, after completing her undergraduate studies, she attained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University. During her veterinary training, Dr. Engle received the Mississippi Veterinary Association Graduate Award for excellence in Companion Animal Medicine and The Upjohn Award for Proficiency in Veterinary Clinical Medicine.
Shortly after graduation, Dr. Engle was chosen, as a result of a massive selection process, to participate in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery in the San Francisco Bay area. Before relocating to South Florida to join the Wiles Road Animal Hospital, she practiced veterinary medicine for three years in San Francisco. In addition to small animal medicine and surgery, Dr. Engle has a special interest in avian and exotic medicine.
Dr. Engle is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, and the Association of Avian Veterinarians. Dr. Engle moved to our area with her pets, and in her spare time enjoys swimming, exercising, and sports.

Owns Shadow, a 12-year old male Domestic Shorthair cat
Owns Sebastian, a 12-year old male Domestic Shorthair cat
Owns Jimmy, a 2-year old male Domestic Shorthair cat
Jimmy was trapped in a sewer drain for 3 days as a kitten. He was rescued by the Ft. Lauderdale fire fighters & taken to the humane society, where Dr. Connors wife fell in love with him & adopted him. Now he is the biggest trouble making cat they have!

Owns Gizmo, a 2-year old male Domestic Shorthair cat
Owns Stevie, a 12-year old male Domestic Shorthair cat.
