Below are the types of
advertising currently available
to vendors wishing to advertise at the Dog Park.
Signs and
Banners
All
signs displayed inside Dr. Paul’s Pet Care Center Dog Park must be approved,
and must be manufactured by their approved vendor to certain size,
materials and content specifications. All
sign requests are handled by the Wiles Road Animal Hospital.
Businesses
wishing to display a sign inside the park must pay the City of Coral Springs for
a three-year license to display the sign there, plus pay the sign vendor for
construction of the sign. The
three-year license costs $1,000. The
sign costs generally run from $400 to $500 if the artwork is complicated.
Signs are constructed of Alumalite, a durable material that is available
in many colors, and is resistant to vandalism.
Once the sign is displayed, any damage to it must be repaired at the sign
owner’s cost in order to retain the right to be displayed.
All
mock-ups for signs must be submitted to the Wiles Road Animal Hospital along
with the checks; no work will be done on the signs until all checks have been
received. Once the checks have been
received, the Animal Hospital will forward them immediately to the appropriate
agencies to get the approval process going and start the sign company working on
a draft version of your mock-up. Once
the sign company starts working on your mock-up, they will no longer go through
the Animal Hospital but will instead deal directly with you.
When the sign is ready to be installed, the sign company will contact the
Animal Hospital to determine where the sign is to be located.
Below is a link to a mock-up sheet depicting a 4’ x 8’ sign to use when laying out how you would like your sign to look. Include any artwork you want to use in camera-ready format (it costs more if you do not have camera-ready). Indicate colors of the background, letters, artwork, etc. Turn this mock-up in, along with a deposit for $400 made payable to (the balance to be paid once the sign is finished but before being placed up) and one (1) check for $1,000 made payable to The City of Coral Springs, Florida.
